7.1 Obligations of Veedol

Veedol shall act as a Data Fiduciary as defined under the DPDP Act and shall determine the purpose, method and means of processing personal data collected through this Website in a manner which is consistent and compliant with the DPDP Act and the Rules framed thereunder.

  • Bank Account Details. Transaction and payment related information when such payments are processed through intermediary third parties.
  • GST number with name
  • Location
  • IP address, browser type and device information

7.3 Purpose of Processing Personal Data

  • Verification of identity
  • Prevention of fraud, misuse etc. and detection thereof
  • Processing or orders and payments
  • Providing instructions relating to customer support (online and offline)
  • Updates, improvements, security and Website related analytics
  • Compliance with applicable laws including regulatory compliances

7.4 Consent

You shall have the right to withdraw your consent to provide personal data at any time by contacting Veedol in writing at corporate@veedol.com.
Withdrawal of consent by you shall not affect the validity and/or legality of all processing of personal data carried out by Veedol at any time prior to such withdrawal of consent by you.

7.5 Data Retention

Your personal data will be securely deleted after the period of retention stated hereinbefore or after such period as may be mandatorily prescribed by applicable law and/or the provisions of the DPDP Act and the Rules framed thereunder.

In the event Veedol transfers personal data to any location outside India which is not restricted by applicable law in India, such transfer shall be carried out in compliance of provisions of the DPDP Act and the Rules framed thereunder.

Veedol shall be responsible for implementing appropriate security measures for protection of personal data against unauthorised access, loss, breach, interpolation or any alteration. It is however clarified that Veedol makes no assurance, warranty or guarantee of providing absolute security since it is beyond the reasonable control of Veedol to provide, offer or operate on a system. It shall at all material times be having complete and/or absolute security.

7.9 Rights of Data Principal

“Data Principal” shall have the meaning attributed to it under the DPDP Act and shall include the users of the Website. Data Principal shall have the following rights:

  • Nomination of another person for the purposes of exercising their rights in the event of death or incapacity

The Veedol Website is not directed at children under the age of 18 and persons under lawful guardianship. We do not knowingly collect personal data from such persons. Veedol is to be contacted forthwith at corporate@veedol.com in the event it is found that personal data of such persons has been collected whereinafter, Veedol will delete such personal data. In the event such personal data of such persons is detected by Veedol itself, such personal data shall be deleted forthwith. Veedol shall not be made liable on any account whatsoever upon deletion of personal data of such persons as aforesaid.

14. Significant Data Fiduciary

In the event Veedol is notified as a Significant Data Fidculary under the provisions of the DPDP Act and the Rules framed thereunder, it shall carry out all obligations and measures prescribed under the DPDP Act and Rules framed thereunder along with notifications published in this regard from time to time. Subject to what has been stated hereinbefore, Veedol shall not be liable on any account for any other responsibility or obligation whatsoever.
